Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Waco, Texas. This role is particularly suited to individuals with experience in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be tasked with handling accounts receivable, working closely with both internal departments and external customers.Responsibilities: Actively manage and resolve payment issues in cooperation with internal departments and external customers. Dedicate efforts towards the prevention of aging by adopting a proactive approach to collecting accounts receivable. Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records. Handle B2B collections in a detail oriented and effective manner. Track down returned material from customers within the warehouse and production floor, ensuring it is matched to invoices and processed accordingly. Utilize your knowledge of Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) in daily tasks. Regularly review and manage aging reports. Issue credit memos as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports is required. In-depth knowledge of Credit Memo processing is needed. Prior experience in B2B collections is a must. Previous work experience in a Manufacturing Company is desirable. Familiarity with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process is a plus.
