Job Description: Full time job with some overtime required during busy seasons. You will be helping to maintain and repair farm equipment. You will also be tending to a herd of cattle. Your schedule will require some flexibility, including working weekends and overtime during our busy seasons such as planting and harvest. Your primary duties will include maintaining and repairing equipment, limited heavy equipment operation, checking cattle, herding cattle, maintaining fence, spraying brush, and spraying fencelines. Flexibility is needed as you will need to assist with all tasks associated with the farm operation. You will often work by yourself so self-motivation and an ability to work safely are a must.

Pay: $14-$20/hour depending on qualifications
Primary Duties:
Assist with Maintaining and Repairing Equipment
Assist with Fabrication of Equipment or Equipment Improvements
Cleaning Equipment and Barn
Limited heavy equipment operation
Building and Maintaining Fence including Electric Fence
Spraying Fencelines
Spraying Brush
Herding cattle
Feeding Hay
Qualifications:
Experience in agriculture is a plus
Welding ability or willingness to learn is a plus
Flexibility of both schedule and job duties
Ability to work outside during all seasons
Ability to perform labor intensive tasks
Must have a current Driver’s License
Ability to work alone, stay on task, and work safely
Willingness to take instruction
Ability to use applications to track your work, keep records, and communicate

In my farming operation I primarily grow corn, cotton, and soybeans. I work to adopt new practices to improve soil health and increase yields. I also have a small cattle operation with a focus on Regenerative Ag.
