Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Uvalde, Texas. The role is integral to our financial services institution, where you will be handling various tasks related to accounts payable, vendor relationships, and financial analysis. This position is based in a dynamic workplace environment and serves a crucial function in maintaining our financial health and accuracy.Responsibilities: Handle the accurate and efficient processing of accounts and incoming payments. Verify any discrepancies and resolve vendor issues promptly. Reconcile vendor statements and ensure payments are made within agreed terms. Maintain accounts payable records, including filing and documentation. Assist in month-end closing procedures. Prepare analysis of accounts and produce reports as needed. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries. Participate in audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Assist in ad hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned. Skills: Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP). Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices. Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs Ability to do Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
