Business Analyst

Description We are on the search for a Business Analyst in the Energy/Natural Resources industry to join our team located in The Woodlands, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and structuring business requirements, procedures, and problems to improve business processes through automation and business process re-engineering. Responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and structure business requirements, procedures, and problems to improve business processes through automation and business process re-engineering. Configure system settings and options in accordance with corporate policies and best practices. Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing. Evaluate the impact of system changes introduced by customizations, interfaces, patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure timely, effective, and efficient delivery of corporate systems. Provide consultation and support to end users as an escalation point from Tier 1 support. Coordinate and collaborate with dedicated offshore testing resources in the duties listed above. Utilize skills such as Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Gap Analysis, Informatica, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, Business Requirement Document, Design to enhance work efficiency and effectiveness. Requirements Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management tasks. Experience in Database management and operations. Familiarity with EO/IR systems and their practical applications. Ability to perform Gap Analysis to identify areas of improvement. Experience in Informatica for data integration tasks. Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies. Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology for project management. Understanding of various Business Process Functions. Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents. Experience in Design, particularly within the Energy/Natural Resources sector.
