The Oka' Institute is hiring a full-time Community Development Specialist to support sustainable water and wastewater planning across tribal and rural Oklahoma. This role leads community outreach, facilitates meetings, gathers infrastructure and demographic data, and coordinates multi-stakeholder projects focused on resilience and regional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in community or infrastructure-related projects, strong communication and public engagement skills, and a foundational understanding of water and wastewater systems. A background in environmental science, public administration, or planning is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; GIS experience is a plus. Salary range is $65,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience.
