Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.Department: Internal Medicine, GeriatricsLocation: UCT / TMCPart Time - 20 hours / weekFLSA- NonexemptPosition Key Accountabilities:

Plans and implements research protocols according to research plan.

Perform data management and basic statistical analysis.

Generate scheduled and solicited progress reports.

Assist with manuscript writing, literature searches, Center for Protection of Human Subjects submissions, transcribing qualitative interviews and formative and rapid feedback evaluation procedures.

Makes independent decisions as required, which may impact research team or assigned project.

Maintains accurate and timely records which may include notebooks, records, databases, etc. as needed by the research project.

Stays abreast of new and updated protocols for the research plan.

May participate in continuing education programs, seminars, and workshops.

Schedules and attends internal and some external research meetings.

Provide updates to principal investigator regarding research progress.

Complies with all governmental and University policies, rules, regulation and codes.

Performs other duties as assigned

Excellentcommunication, verbal and written.
