Responsibilities

Global Planning data coordinatorPerform data management activities for general Global Planning processesDesign, automate, and execute new and existing queries and reports from ITS/Global Planning Data SourcesSteward ad-hoc tasks as required from time to time

TBM Operational activitiesLiaise with the ITDW Support team to add/change/delete Data SourcesManage automation of monthly report data load cadenceValidate data loading from ITDWRun any necessary scripts & associated data loadingGenerating ad-hoc information for TBM Analysts/PlannersExecute and recommend updates to Apptio monthly cadence runbookReceive and process application guidance from TBM Office Analysts, including documentation of the connections made within the Apptio ModelProvide regular updates on the process throughout the cycleAs appropriate, work within the Apptio tool or supporting dashboards to ensure timely, uninterrupted report delivery

Value-added services including:Recommendations to ITDW to improve data gathering & validation processesAutomate work activities within the scope of assigned role, promoting long-term efficiencyPerform activities purposefully for the transition of data load & basic reporting to another team

Required skillsTechnical Skills: Advanced SQL knowledge to provide guiding interface to ITDW teamTechnical Skills or Exposure to Tableau, PowerBI, and data modeling for analysis; experience or ambition to work with Financial Modeling technologies, such as Apptio or Nicus, desiredTechnical Skills: Exposure & experience with Visual Studio and SSIS/SSASTechnical Skills: Self-reliant with programming concepts & scripting in PowershellWork Processes: Exposure to Agile-Scrum work methods and expectationsCommunication Skills: Able to produce and maintain documentation with little supervisionWork ethic: self-motivated with attention to detail and a desire to meet or exceed expectations; reliable; generally positive dispositionMotivated to implement sustainable automation or, at minimum, provide practicable suggestions to redesign potentially redundant or slow processes
