Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll and Human Resources Clerk in Spring, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the domain of payroll, benefits administration, and employee onboarding. This role is requiring the candidate to be bilingual in Spanish. This role is expected to last 4-5 months covering for a maternity leave. Please apply today for immediate consideration! Responsibilities:· Interfaces with employees and handles questions regarding pay, time off balances, and benefits. · Administers benefits plans and communicate with broker if any issues arise.· Maintains employee documentation and communications. · Provides oversight to the employee onboarding and hiring process to ensure proper collection of documentation, agreements, background checks and drug testing.· Manages the recruiting process to include job board postings, screenings and coordinating interviews. · Manage unemployment claim process for all locations.· Processes payroll on a weekly basis. This includes mainting employee record, processing vacation, Holiday and PTO requests, calculation of hours, administer garnishment and 401k withholdings. · Process 401k withholdings on a weekly basis. This includes managing 401k loan requests and hardship withdrawals. · Compiles and reports payroll information for jobs requiring certified payroll. · Assist with compiling information for Third party audits pertaining to payroll data.· Audits carrier benefits billing and ensures proper employee deductions. · Maintains company organizational chart and phone list on a monthly basis. · Administer Corpay and Brivo Gate cards for employees. · Handle main calls and redirect those calls as needed to other departments. Requirements · 3-5 years handling human resources, office management for small to medium sized business.
