Summary: Our consulting engineering office located in Spring, TX is currently seeking an Engineering Technicianto assist the Project Managers with AutoCAD and Report Writing from our offices in Spring, TX. This office is responsible for inspecting, installing & testing window washing equipment on rooftops/balconies of commercial buildings. This section of our consulting engineering department specializes in the design, inspection, testing and installation of suspended access and fall protection equipment on commercial buildings and industrial facilities. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

Assist engineering staff with AutoCAD functions and Report Writing based on the installation of equipment

Assist engineering staff with additional administrative related duties

Able to travel (extremely rarely) to on-site locations in Houston, possibly Phoenix and Denver if needed

QualificationsRequirements Include:

General High School Diploma or equivalent

AutoCAD trained and experienced

Report Writing or similar experience

Be team oriented and have a positive attitude

Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of customer representatives

Good organizational and project management skills

Strong safety awareness in a variety of construction settings

Preferred Qualifications:

Inspection and/or construction experience is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

Optional Qualifications:

Training/Knowledge on using a GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) device.
