Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the automotive industry, based in Spring, Texas. This role involves managing, creating, and implementing all accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and compliance processes and procedures. The Controller will also be responsible for the accuracy, productivity, and personnel associated with the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing/billing, customer collections, payroll and all general entries associated with the business office.Responsibilities: Direct responsibility for the management, creation and implementation of all accounting, financial reporting auditing, and compliance processes and procedures Manage the accuracy, productivity and personnel associated with the day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing/billing, customer collections, and payroll Oversee all general entries associated with the business office Work directly with management to manage every aspect of the dealership's accounting, financial reporting and auditing procedures Utilize skills in Month End Close, Financial Statement Preparation, Journal Entries, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Automotive Industry, and Supervisory Oversight.Requirements
Must have franchise dealership experience –
5+ years at the leadership level
Full cycle through financial statement preparation
Leadership – will lead a team of 15+, need to have a respectful leadership style and set people up for success
Open to someone who doesn’t have a degree, but the years of experience in the automotive industry.
