Industrial Brake Press Operator - 2nd

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Industrial Brake Press Operator - 2nd. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. The rate for this position is $20.38 per hour plus an additional $.60 per hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do: Set up, understand and proficiently operate all Press Brake controls. Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems. ID and tag shop orders with the product. Retrieve/enter data into the system. Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts. Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently. Brake components based on print specifications. Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications: One year of Press Brake or Machine Operations experience in Metal Fabrication. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills to include bending program loading. Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.Position Criteria: Ability to stand on feet continuously for eight hours plus and to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation. Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection (as required in high-noise areas).
