Seeking skilled Diesel Mechanic
Duties will include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to: heavy duty trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools
- Inspect and test engines and other components for proper functioning
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, transmissions, and air brakes
- Use power tools and hand tools to dismantle, repair, and reassemble engine parts
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components
- Proficient in using electrical and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting
- Experience with automotive repair, including brake repair and transmission maintenance
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in diesel engine repair
Skills:
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including trucks, and heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics tools and electrical systems
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively for dismantling and reassembling engine parts
- Experience with brake repair and transmission maintenance on diesel engines
- Familiarity with air brake systems on heavy equipment
