Description As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions, including benefits management, leave of absence administration, onboarding, and HR compliance. You will collaborate closely with the Executive team to deliver exceptional service to employees and support the organization's overall HR objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Benefits Management:· Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.· Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.· Collaborate with benefit providers and brokers to optimize benefit offerings and resolve issues as needed.Leave Management:· Manage all aspects of leave of absence administration, including FMLA paperwork distribution, file maintenance, and return-to-work processes.· Utilize HRIS system to accurately track and document all leave of absences.· Act as a point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding leave-related inquiries and processes.Onboarding:· Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations, processing paperwork, and coordinating training schedules.· Serve as a resource for new employees, providing guidance on company policies, benefits, and procedures.· Collaborate with the Executive team and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into their roles.Employee Relations:· Address employee relations issues by providing intake on complaints and concerns, and counseling where appropriate.· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee matters.HR Compliance:· Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., DOL, ISO, DHS, OFCCP, CARF).· Assist in conducting HR internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.General HR Support:· Process benefits transactions accurately and in a timely manner.· Support annual appraisal entry processes and other HR projects as assigned.Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. · 5+ years of experience in HR, with specific experience in benefits management and compliance preferred. ·Knowledge of FMLA regulations, ADA guidelines, and other relevant employment laws.· Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. · Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. · Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
