Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in San Marcos, California. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as processing invoices, managing data entry projects, and handling customer inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain customer credit records ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Oversee customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Grade and approve invoices, ensuring they meet the required standards Manage the mailing of checks to respective parties Undertake additional data entry projects as required Utilize Microsoft Excel to effectively manage and organize data Code invoices as per the established procedures and standards. Requirements Familiarity with the Real Estate & Property industry Proficiency in coding invoices Exceptional skills in numeric data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks No specific years of experience required, willingness to learn is key High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus Familiarity with accounting software is beneficial.
