FedEx Ground Delivery Driver Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Package Delivery Driver to join our growing company. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery (and pick-up) of packages to residential and commercial customers.
This job requires a COMPLETELY clean background.
This job is full time and requires working Saturdays.
The job physically demanding. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE PHYSICALLY INTENSE WORK.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Clean Background (verified via background check)
Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (no DUI or license suspensions)
Speak English (enough to communicate with customers)
Ability to lift up to 150 pounds.
Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends (up to 12 hours per shift).
Have reliable transportation to and from work and a working mobile device.
Working mobile phone for communication and safety training.
Responsibilities:
Safely deliver packages along designated routes, meeting strict time schedules.
Be able to drive 7-9 hours within a day.
Load, unload, and organize packages in your assigned vehicle, adhering to weight restrictions (up to 150 lbs).
Provide excellent customer service by following all delivery instructions and obtaining signatures when required.
Maintain a professional appearance (provided uniform and badge, black shoes and socks) and positive attitude while interacting with customers.
Effectively navigate using GPS and delivery manifests.
Report any damaged packages or delivery issues.
Perform basic vehicle checks to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance concerns.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
