Small Custom Metal and Wood Fabrication shop looking for a skilled Woodworker to add to our crew.
Must have the following skills:
- Able to read basic blueprints and drawings
- Be proficient in all basic shop woodworking machinery and tools.
- Demonstrate good common sense in problem solving fabrication solutions as they arrise.
- Can receive direction and execute instruction from lead without giving resistance.
- Have your own basic tools needed to do your job, ie: Tape measure, gloves, cordless, tool bag, etc.
- Get to work EVERYDAY on time. Your job here should be one of your top priorities.
- Fabrication decision making using creative, thoughtful strategies on a daily basis.
- Communicate in a clear, concise manner with you knowledge of the principles and elements of fabrication/woodworking being well integrated into your communication.
- Eagerness to always be learning as well as a willingness to step into unfamiliar territory.
- MUST have woodshop experience!
The opening is for immediate start and is full time. Payday is every Friday.
We are ONLY looking for a person serious about the job who is looking to be challenged in their fabrication skills, and have a good time while doing it - yes, we do have beer in the shop fridge.
