Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RV Technician Shop Helper to join our team. As a Shop Helper, you will provide essential support to our RV technicians, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our
service department. Your role will involve hands-on work with RVs, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist RV technicians with maintenance, repairs, and installations on recreational vehicles.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting RV components.
Prepare and organize work areas, tools, and equipment for technicians.
Help move and park RVs within the shop and lot as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and customers.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Assist with facility maintenance to include mowing, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the shop manager or lead technician.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of RV systems and components is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
