Punch tech needed conducting final walk throughs, create punch lists of needed repairs and ensure all aspects of the project meet the required quality standards.
-This is a 2-week job with possible extension with a large general contractor here in San Antonio.
Some of the duties include:
- Thoroughly inspect the project to identify any items that don't meet specifications or are incomplete
- Create a detailed list of issues, often using software, and assign them to the relevant subcontractors for correction
- Coordinate work with subcontractors, site supervisors, and the client to ensure that all punch list items are addressed and resolved
- Verify that all work is completed to the required standards and that the project is ready for final inspection and handover
- Complete any other tasks like painting touch-ups, adjusting doors and hardware, and ensuring all finishes are complete
- May also include testing systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Ensure that all construction materials, equipment, and debris not included in the final project delivery are removed from the site
- Ensure that the client is satisfied with the final product and that all their expectations have been met
