Precast Quality Control Technician - up to $90k

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all precast erection projects meet industry standards, company specifications, and safety regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, durability, and overall quality of our precast parking garage structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and quality control checks on precast concrete erection projects.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Monitor installation procedures to identify and correct deficiencies.

Perform on-site inspections, including dimensional verification, alignment, and connection integrity.

Document and report any quality issues, defects, or deviations from specifications.

Work closely with project managers, field supervisors, and erection crews to maintain quality assurance.

Assist in training team members on best practices for quality control and adherence to standards.

Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions.

Ensure all materials and precast components comply with approved submittals and project requirements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency in the erection process.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in quality control within the precast erection, construction, or related industry.

Strong knowledge of precast concrete erection processes, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.

Familiarity with quality assurance tools and inspection techniques.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multiple teams.

OSHA certification or other safety training is a plus.

Must be able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
