Actively hiring reliable and competent ACI and/or PCI Certified Technicians for full-time work providing QC inspection of the fabrication of precast and prestressed concrete.
No travel required.
ACI Certified Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I. Must have ability to test fresh concrete for air content, slump, and temperature; and prepare reports and communicate relative to construction condition.
AND/OR
PCI Level II, or III certification issued by the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute. Must have experience with prestressed concrete inspection, particularly for transportation and bridge projects.

This position will be the final inspector of inventory products to ensure compliance with product specifications and the company’s quality control system.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable Transportation and valid Driver’s License
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel experience, ability to navigate the internet and email correspondence
Monitors and reviews information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
Inspects materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Provides information to supervisors or co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person to help the team make proper business decisions.
Evaluates and reports proper dimensions, conditions and cleanliness and placement of the products.
Ensures the proper placement of reinforced steel and embedment.
Inspects and evaluates the mixing, placing, consolidating, finishing, and curing of the concrete.
Conducts final inspections of the products before releasing it to the yard.
Validates the procedures for damage repairs and evaluations.
Verifies proper final procedures and the results for handling and storing our products.
Experience: Precast production and/or previous experience in a manufacturing QC environment
Knowledge of raw materials, and production processes
Previous experience working as a Quality Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical specifications.
Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques.
Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
