Welder general duties - able to weld in all positions (flat, vertical, and overhead) using stick, tig, mig, and Flux Core. Welders will work with carbon steel, stainless, and exotics such as inco 800, alloy 20, hastelloy, and aluminum. They are expected to layout, install, and repair all types of pipe or similar tubular products in accordance with specifications and plans.
Pipefitter general duties - expected to plan, layout, install, test and repair all types of piping systems including relief valves in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. To facilitate project and job completion, the Pipefitter may help and assist other crafts at levels appropriate with training and skills as requested by supervision.
Up to 30 hours of OT per week
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Prior HVAC welding experience required.
Knowledge of steam pipe welding, pipe fitting carbon steel, copper, stainless steel
Knowledge of Welding methods, Braze/Solder, pPopress and Victaulic
Knowledge of Pump/Chiller/Boiler/Cooling Tower/WSHP and FCU tie ins
Able to read and interpret prints, specifications, and submittals
