We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain our childcare centers and various residential and commercial real estate properties. This role involves proactive maintenance, timely repairs, and regular inspections to ensure safe and welcoming environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Childcare Center Maintenance:
- Inspect and fix maintenance issues.
- Perform routine repairs (e.g., leaky faucets, broken fixtures).
- Inspect and maintain playground equipment.
- Real Estate Property Maintenance:
- Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other property features.
- Address tenant maintenance requests promptly.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized tasks
- General Duties:
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with Center Directors and Property Managers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or similar trades.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in building maintenance or safety are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tech-savvy with maintenance log systems.
- Available from 7 am to 6 pm, with flexible hours based on workload.
