Residential Sales Assistant

TASKS:

Take and make phone calls to customers, including follow up phone calls within 24 hours of sending out a bid to a customer. Including taking calls of an unpleasant nature.

Pre-qualify leads and record call details into Smartsheet and set appointments for Project Managers.

Maintain (Excel based) Smartsheet accurately for use in weekly bid reviews.

Utilize Smartsheet for the entire sales process (documenting all correspondence up to win/losing the bid).

Once bid has been accepted and a contract signed, gather all information (such as CAD drawings and materials lists and all other paperwork for the job package and submit to production within 48 hours).

Calling in utility locates.

Checking in with key players by 3pm for jobs scheduled for the next day.

Schedule pre-construction meetings for jobs over $15,000.

Handle customer calls that could not be put through to the project managers directly, communicate with customer by phone when concerns arise, including setting and changing appointments as needed.

Upselling: Asking the customer if they are aware of other services we offer and inform them (i.e, staining, decks, etc.).

Essential Skills:

Computer literacy is essential. Able to learn and grasp accounting, CRM and other software programs that might be new to the employee.

Must be very familiar with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Organizational skills and multi tasking.

Excellent people skills and communication (extrovert/Type-A personality).

Ability to multi-task.

Ability to listen to a customer’s concerns and communicate persistently.

Ability to receive constructive feedback to improve and excel.

Good math and written skills.

Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm.
