Hiring For
At this time, we are seeking a PRN/Part Time (as needed) Receptionist to join our team! This would be less than part time hours at this time. Training will be provided! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THIS AD!
Industry Experience:
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Some knowledge of computer skills or programs such as Word or Excel may be needed
Some knowledge of making flyers for events and activities
Ability to work well under pressure
Warm outgoing personality
Ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds
Duties Include:
Assure the readiness of the reception area for each working day
Greet residents, family members and other guests and direct all people to appropriate locations and services
Maintain forms and office supplies required for front desk operations
Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of residents; assure resident confidentiality at all times
Participate in staff and educational meetings when needed
Answer multi-line phone system, determine nature of call & route calls as appropriate
Schedule/maintain transportation log for driver
Handle multiple tasks and be organized in a fast paced environment
Assist other departments if asked
Make sure sales materials are prepared
Respond to verbal sales inquiries appropriately and in a timely manner
Must enjoy working with the elderly and able to accept constructive criticism!
Ability to interact with residents who are highly susceptible to common illnesses
Maintain a professional business office appearance. (On occasion we have spirit days/weeks and casual Fridays with jeans!)
Training will be provided at both Memory Care & Assisted Living buildings
Shift/Hours
Daytime: Available Hours:
PRN -As needed basis-Between the hours of 8:30-4:30pm! No late hours!
This job also requires working some holiday shifts, usually a set holiday schedule
You would help cover our FT Receptionist days off (half or full days) and/or vacation time off, if needed
PLEASE NOTE
Since this is a healthcare environment, you MUST be available to work weekends and some holidays if asked.
You must have compassion and patience and enjoy working with seniors.

We have Group Interviews every week, usually Tuesday and Thursdays at 1:30pm. Please call ahead to check for time and date and to confirm you will be in attendance. Come prepared to meet with the hiring managers in a group setting.
