Nonprofit special needs companion bird rescue seeks immediate help. Make a difference in birds' lives. We are urgently looking for bird lovers who can help part-time, any day, from approximately 9:30 - 2:30. Urgent needs are for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Compensation is $12 per hour, up to a maximum of $60 per day. Please only long term commitments, no seasonal jobs. You will be in charge of cage maintenance and bird care for our feathered companions. Hands-on bird handling required after extensive training.
The position requires the ability to speak, read and write English. Bird experience is a plus, reliability and diligence is a must. Driver license and reliable transportation required. We may conduct background and reference checks. Please email your resume with a cover letter for consideration.
