LK Jordan has 8 immediate openings for Assemblers located near the Splashtown area. This organization is looking for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team environment. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm. Some overtime may be required. Pay starts at $17.00-$18.00 hourly depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
-Perform mechanical and electrical assembly as specified using required tools.
-Able to read and follow procedures, work instructions and assembly drawings.
-Able to use various manual and electro-pneumatic tools and test equipment.
-Adhere to all required quality standards and perform required quality and testing checks.
-Report any defective materials or equipment to supervisors
-Pack goods and deliver to warehouse.
-Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
-Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
-Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
-Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
-Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
-Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Experience:
-5-6 years experience in assembly or a related field
-Must pass a background check and drug screen
-Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
-Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
