Responsibilities:
Work safely in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Safely operate printing, cutting, laminating and other equipment as assigned – training will be provided.
Operation of router to cut out signs and letters.
Assemble various sign products and prepare them for shipment.
Assist with inventory as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and area by using specific tools and equipment.
Assist the business in capturing and reporting downtime information.
Utilize standard operating procedures to perform job tasks.
Complete required operational paperwork.
Read work orders, process products and document progress accordingly.
Requirements:
Exceptional attendance and reliability.
Previous experience in the printing and/or sign industry is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and processes.
Thoroughness and attention to detail.
Ability to function as an effective team member.
Good communication skills.
Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
The ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The ability to stand, walk, sit for long periods of time (at least 8 hours per day and 5 days per week).
The ability to climb ladders, stairs, ramps and uneven floor and/or surfaces as needed.
