Mechanic Helper Job Description:
Assisting mechanics in repair tasks for heavy equipment, performing general shop and field labor, and managing tools.
Responsibilities include following safety protocols, cleaning and maintaining equipment, transporting tools, and aiding in shop operations as needed.
Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset, along with the ability to handle physical demands and work in varying environmental conditions.
Requirements include: A high school diploma, previous labor experience, and proficiency in basic instructions.
Heavy Duty Mechanic Job Description:
The role involves performing diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, and handling emergency service calls.
Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing garbage trucks, support vehicles, and plant equipment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2-5 years of truck repair experience, proficiency with Mack, Autocar, Peterbilt, and Volvo trucks, and skills in engines, transmissions, PLC electrical systems, and hydraulics. Welding experience and a CDL B are advantageous.
