All American Irrigation Systems, LLC (AAIS) is looking for a Landscape Foreman/Supervisor to run the landscaping truck and small crew. Our shop is located in New Braunfels so you will need to be able to drive to this location to pick up a company truck. Our hours are M-Th 7:00am-5:00pm and Fridays 7:00am to Noon. We do have opportunities for overtime as well as receiving tips. This is a family-owned company, and we work with a family style atmosphere. We expect everyone that works here to be a team player.
Duties and Responsibilities
Must be dependable and show up on time
Exceptional communication skills and good customer service
Experience supervising a crew with leadership qualities and leading by example
Team player that works alongside the crew when necessary
Must be experienced with estimating jobs and explaining to the client
Assess the number of hours needed for the crew to maintain the property
Follow up with customers when they approve or decline a proposal
Physical ability to meet work demands in all weather conditions
Must be able to pull a trailer
Equipment, Vehicles, & Materials
Responsible for company vehicles, equipment, and materials purchased and used by Maintenance Department
Ensure crew vehicles and equipment are maintained, serviced, or repaired in a timely fashion
Coordinate with crew to ensure that regular maintenance is being performed on trucks and trailers
Review and coordinate with Office Manager any purchases
Maintain truck and supply inventory
This position may require occasional work on Saturdays, especially in the fall and spring, under deadline constraints, or during the holiday season
Qualifications
Experienced in supervising a crew
Minimum of at least 2 or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Landscape Maintenance
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Highly motivated and able to work under pressure/deadlines
Strong communication skills
Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred, but not required
Clean driving record and background check required
Compensation
This is an hourly position, compensation based on experience
Health/Dental insurance options available after 30 days
Paid personal time off after 90 days
One week paid vacation upon one year anniversary
