We are currently accepting applications for full time Highway lighting/Traffic Signal Foreman and Highway Construction Laborers.
The HIGHWAY LIGHITNG/TRAFFIC SIGNAL FOREMAN will direct a crew on various projects including traffic signals, lighting and ITS. He must be able to read plans & utility locates, install underground conduit, install poles, drill foundations, gather material needed for the project and necessary manpower to complete job. He will have at least 3 years experience in highway lighting and traffic signals and at least 1 year experience in managing a crew. Traveling may be required. Must have a valid Texas drivers license. Work will be mainly outdoors around loud noises, gases, electrical hazards, moving traffic and hot/cold temperatures. This description only covers a basic idea of the duties and responsibilities for this position. It does not include all duties or responsibilities and other duties will be required.
The HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION LABORER will require manual labor such as digging ditches, building and pulling forms, pouring concrete, pulling cable and running pipe. It also consists of operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing sites. Experience in the installation of conduit, ground boxes, underground utilities, concrete forming and finishing is a plus but not necessary. Candidates MUST be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather for extended periods of time. Traveling will be required M-F. Candidates should also possess and maintain a valid Texas driver's license and be legally authorized to work in the US. Compensation will be determined by skill level and experience.
