Join our busy and dynamic practice as a Medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMP), where you'll deliver comprehensive care to both children and adults. This role includes a range of responsibilities, from direct patient care and allergy testing to managing patient inquiries. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts starting as early as 7:00am and extending as late as 6:00pm.
Job Duties:
Rooming patients, checking vitals, and entering medication lists into EMR.
Performing allergy skin testing (prick and intradermal).
Administering allergy injections, flu shots, and other vaccines.
Conducting RUSH immunotherapy for quick allergy maintenance dosing.
Administering specialty injections for asthma and immune-compromised patients.
Managing the triage line, handling patient calls, sick calls, and prescription refills.
Requirements:
Current Medical Assistant certification or relevant licensure.
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
Strong knowledge of EMR systems and ability to manage patient records.
Excellent communication skills for handling patient inquiries and triage calls.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with pediatric and adult patient care is a plus.
Proficiency in allergy testing and administration of injections.
