Tomatillos is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager in a high volume, high profiled atmosphere with a career minded direction in the Hospitality Industry. This Manager will be responsible for successful day to day operations involving implementation of Tomatillos’ policies, procedures and financial objectives. This manager will ensure that staff will remain compliant with all local, state and federal laws and all levels of guest service will exceed expectations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
2 + years’ experience in a managerial capacity in the restaurant industry in a mid to high sales volume restaurant.
Ability to work flexible hours, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
Presents self in a professional groomed appearance and attire.
High level of business acumen and common sense.
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates strong problem solving skills through the ability to diagnose and implement solutions.
Basic knowledge of POS navigation and computers skills in Excel and Word Perfect.
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow and enforce Tomatillos policies and procedures.
Work closely with all levels of management to meet financial objectives.
Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations.
Maintain safe working conditions.
Train and supervise all staff.
Continuous development of staff in POS and IT skills.
Deliver superior guest service and absolute customer satisfaction.
Respond immediately and efficiently to customer complaints.
Organize and supervise all operations during shifts.
Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback for successful growth.
Forecast business trends, estimate production requirements and maintain proper inventories.
Effectively controls all cost centers and direct operating costs.
Nurture a positive working environment by leading by example.
