We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant House Manager to support an UHNW client in their private residence in San Antonio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing household operations and providing administrative support to the Principal and the Chief of Staff. This role requires flexibility for potential extensive travel periods and the ability to work closely with the Principal, Chief of Staff, and other team members. This is a great opportunity for growth within an established household with very little turnover in the staff. This role is positioned to work closely with with Chief of Staff and will grow in responsibility over time.
Responsibilities:
House Management:
- Support Chief of Staff in coordinating, scheduling, and managing other house staff
- Support Chief of Staff in the management and oversight of contractors for house repairs and other services
- Track and manage all necessary maintenance and repairs
- Assist with event planning and dinner service when necessary
- Manage errands and inventory of household items such as linens and silverware
- Assist with basic tidying and other tasks as requested
Additional Support Tasks for Principal:
- Take dictation and assist with drafting personal correspondence
- Conduct research on various topics of interest and summarize findings into documents
- Organize and manage the personal library
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred but not required
- Accomplished reader with a wide range of interests and comfortable exploring various subjects
- Ability to travel in the summer and fall (up to 3 weeks at a time)
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday 12pm-8pm
Salary: $80,000
