- Develop a plan to consolidate existing websites and SharePoint sites and execute this consolidation plan.
- Ensure work products are correct, adhere to the design concepts, and comply with agency requirements and standards.
- Participate in test activities, demonstrate product to Government personnel for approval, prepare status reports, and provide presentations of the redesigned sites to end user representatives.
- Research, make recommendations on, and implement modules and custom development.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience.
- Implement a responsive web design approach.
- Design the web site(s) such that they are functional on common PC browser platforms.
- Research and implement security controls, mechanisms or measures to increase the security level of the web site(s) and to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
- Provide support for penetration testing activities.
- Remediate any vulnerabilities discovered as part of routine vulnerability scanning.
- Implement password and other security policies.
- Troubleshoot permissions in SharePoint Online.
- Use SharePoint Online to achieve business objectives, including troubleshooting, calculating columns, forms, creating and managing views, managing groups, calendar creation, alerts, workflows, etc.
- Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to the Program Manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities.
- Aggregate and synthesize data from authoritative systems into metrics and analytics.
- Quickly comprehend complexity and convey findings in concise, well-written narratives.
- Participate in other technical assistance and additional duties as required.
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years of SharePoint development experience.
- Substantial knowledge of web technology and programming skills necessary to organize information, develop web pages, create web templates, develop web applications, establish site structure, and produce website documentation.
- Have demonstrated experience as a Senior Web Designer/Developer level, including work developing web applications and websites.
- Advanced site-building experience.
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerShell, PowerApps, Web developer with Power BI and graphic design experience.
- Ability to write in code using language such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, MVC.NET or ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF Services, SharePoint REST and the SharePoint Client Object Model.
- Understanding of Site Collections, Metadata, Access control groups, Inheritance, Creating custom views, Master Pages, Web apps and web parts.
- Proficiency using Excel to report on data in meaningful displays incorporating pivot tables, graphs, and charts in a way that facilitates business and operational insights.
- Experience and comfort with MS Excel and other MS Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills).
- Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among mid-level to senior leadership.
- Certified SharePoint Developer (Preferred).
