In the role of Senior Cyberrisk Program Manager within the CO+I Risk Management team, your impact will be felt across the entire lifecycle of infrastructure delivery and operations, supporting the vast array of Microsoft’s cloud services.You will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and reporting on risks to our global critical infrastructure. This involves collaborating with a diverse range of teams within Microsoft, contributing significantly to key business decisions and ensuring the delivery of resilient, safe, and trustworthy infrastructure. This role is flexible in that you will be able to partner with your manager to define the way that you’d like to work, whether that is in the office or from home.

This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ

Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates are required to ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Create and improve processes to improve quantification of cybersecurity risks at strategic, organizational, and operational levels. These risks primarily focus on operational technology (OT) components.

Leverage cybersecurity industry and international standards (such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework) to effectively measure and quantify organizational maturity of cybersecurity processes

Work across organizational boundaries to effectively understand and assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity processes that span organizational boundaries

Drive improvements to our understanding of cybersecurity strategic risks within our organization as well as critical and key suppliers

Apply data driven insights to learn about and implement models to automate metrics and KPIs as part of our cybersecurity risk quantification goals

Partner with stakeholders to craft and drive remediation efforts for areas where our cybersecurity goals are not being achieved

Contribute to a team culture that is dynamic, positive, and aligned with Microsoft’s values

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

8+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, Auditing, and/or Finance

OR Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, Auditing, and/or Finance

OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Government Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

Risk management and data visualization background

Experience with Cybersecurity Risk Management standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO/IEC 27001, or the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Controls Framework

Experience working in hyperscale operational technology (OT) or industrial control system (ICS) environments

Efficient communication skills with experience in creating executive presentations, memos, and white papers

People networking and relationship management skills

Risk Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
