Production Quality Control (Weekly Pay)

Aerotek is looking to hire quality control coordinators for a company that is a CLIMATE CONTROLLED FACILITY off of Lone Star Pass. Exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in quality and attention to detail.Job Description: Monitors and controls quality data for Customer Supplied and Purchased product. Coordinates material quality issues with Steel Mills Technical Representatives and MSTX Operations and Sales personnel. Controls nonconforming material and customer returns for Customer Supplied and Purchased product for disposition of material. Provides material information to MSTX Operations and Sales personnel as needed. Performs daily update of coil/blank information (status) in Open Trac. Prepares weekly and monthly reports. Completes letters, memos, etc. and assists with projects as needed. Ability to obtain forklift certification.Must haves:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, quality manuals, operational procedures, and work instructions.Ability to write process procedures, standards, work instructions, routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.$18/HRMust be ok working a rotating shift, days and nights.Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
