Payroll Analyst Location: Onsite reporting to San Antonio, TXPay Rate: Open to Both C2C and W2 options Position Type: Multiyear Contract Essential Functions/Objectives:Managing end-to-end payroll processing for employeesUnderstand all aspects of payroll in regard to payroll laws and regulationsManage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accuratelyProvide excellent customer service to employees: in the areas of compensation, taxes, how to clock in/out, how to request time off, in a timely mannerSupporting managers to increase understanding and application of HR processesEducate managers and employees on payroll and timekeeping policy, process and practice to ensure effective executionPerform daily payroll operationsPerform updates to payroll-related information and data and manage overall payroll work flowEnsure timely processing of all new hires, promotions and terminationsAnalyze and audit payroll data for accuracy of posting, including intercompany transactionsPrepare journal entries related to payroll and benefits and record timely and accuratelyExecute time and attendance processing and interface with payrollCalculation and distribution of reportsProcess garnishment paymentsComplete employment verifications and unemployment insurance information requestsProcess 940/941 tax paymentsProcess accurate and timely year end reporting (W-2, W-2c)Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as neededOther assigned dutiesRequirements:3-5 years’ experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Representative or Payroll ClerkIntermediate - advanced experience with ADP WFN & TimekeepingSolid understanding of accounting fundamentals, best payroll practices and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and procedures to accomplish the jobStrong knowledge of federal and state regulationsDetail-orientedAble to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential informationAbility to manage a high volume of work under tight service delivery deadlinesExcellent customer service skillsStrong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skillsStrong organizational, time management and prioritization abilitiesStrong PC knowledge including proficiency in ExcelTeam player yet a self-starter and self-motivated individual assertive in maintaining confidentialityFor immediate consideration, please apply directly or contact Ryan Pustilnik at (301) 740-2110.
