Assist the physician with the initial evaluation of patient to assess needs for service and to establish realistic goals. Administer treatment program prescribed by physician. Provide training in proper use of prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment. Instruct other members of the health care team in maintaining therapeutic, creative and self-care activities. Provides appropriate documentation of services in keeping with Agency policies and procedures.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications
Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allies Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state which you seek employment
Minimum of one-year current experience within health care community.
Current CPR certification
Valid Driver's License, car insurance and access to an automobile
This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
