Become a maker of possible with us.Manager, Commercial Fee and IncentivesThe Manager of Commercial Fees and Incentives will be responsible for managing the entirety of BD’s Commercial Fee program which includes all activities related to pricing administration, customer rebates, incentive programs, special contracts, contract amendments, fee review process, data management, compliance, reporting, internal controls, and business partnering across the U.S. This role has primary responsibility for the implementation and administration of the U.S. Commercial Fees Program including ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, standards, and controls as well as ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The role is also responsible for the execution of the incentive compensation plan and developing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes and systems supporting the commercial fees and incentives programs.Responsibilities

Leadership and Management of staff who are responsible for processing, auditing, reconciling, analyzing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting on customer rebates, discounts, special prices, contracts, and other customer inducements.

Responsible for creating and maintaining effective relationships with key customers (e.g., distributors, group purchasing organizations, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks, etc.), both internally and externally, based upon a deep understanding of the marketplace and customer needs.

Provide guidance and advice to cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate coordination and communication among internal departments, customers, and sales personnel regarding commercial fees and incentives.

Coordinate the approval of customer requests and provide input into customer negotiations and the development of contractual terms.

Develop and implement tools/systems/processes to streamline workflow, reduce errors, increase productivity, and enhance data integrity and quality.

Assist in developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives through continuous improvement projects focused on automation, standardization, and simplification.

Manage external vendor relationships and serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.

Drive and lead the team towards adopting best practices, innovative solutions, and continuous improvements.

Analyze data and identify trends related to customer activity, payment accuracy, and program performance.

Oversee and coordinate the development and distribution of reports on customer activity, payments, and program performance.

Support efforts to develop new analytical tools and dashboards to enable more efficient decision making.

Contribute to the design and maintenance of operational metrics and KPIs to track progress against goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of five years' relevant experience required

Experience working in healthcare industry or pharmaceutical manufacturer preferred

Strong project management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SAP preferred

Ability to travel up to 20% domestically
