Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Lead Supply Chain Specialist (Level 4) to join our F-18 SLM Supply Chain team in San Antonio, TX.In this role the selected candidate will lead a team of supply chain specialists to source, status and coordinate parts and material requirements needed to support schedule for F-18 SLM Program.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):

Leads and administers post production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material

Leads activities for economy of purchases. Leads and monitors customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers

Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system

Initiates recommendations for repair sourcing decisions

Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties

Conducts supplier/customer presentations and program reviews

Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):

3 + years of experience with supply chain/execution systems (process or tools) to ensure meeting customer requirements

3 + years of experience leading teams

3 + years of experience performing strategy work (e.g. market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions)

5 + years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership

5 + years of supply chain management

Ability to travel 20% domestically

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):

Bachelors degree or higher

Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with GOLD and I-GOLD software applications

Experience leading and coaching peers

Presenting to executive leadership and internal/external customers

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
