Instructional Designer

Our direct end client in San Antonio, Texas is looking for several instructional designers for a 12+ month project. Position can be remote. Instructional designer roles need Articulate(content creation) and Litmos(LMS). Candidates who understand ID and work well in ambiguity/able to work in an unstructured environment. Will need to create training from scratch, gather requirements, etc. Basic Qualifications - SID: Bachelors degree from an accredited university required. Major in training and development or organizational development preferred. Professional training credentials preferred. 5+ years of relevant experience required, including developing employee learning strategies, managing major training initiatives, and delivering results. Demonstrated knowledge of learning techniques and best practices, including needs assessment, adult learning theory, instructional design, presentation, facilitation, and training evaluation. Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles and techniques, including lectures, learning activities, discussions, self-study, computer-based training modules, role-playing, simulations, learning reinforcement strategies and knowledge checks. 5+ years of direct experience with Instructional Design authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/RISE 360, Adobe CC, Camtasia, Vyond). 5+ years of experience applying instructional design methodology (ADDIE/SAM or AGILE) Demonstrated organizational and project management skills. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Yammer) Demonstrated experience collaborating with key resources, subject matter experts, stakeholders, and external vendors to achieve strategic goals. Demonstrated competency in management; formal training or demonstrated competency in supervision. Strong organizational skills, project management, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, proofread, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication and presentation skills. Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff.Preferred Qualifications - SID: Masters degree from an accredited university required. Major in training and development or organizational development preferred. At least 3 years experience in instructional design or development At least 3 years experience using Adobe Creative Suite applications: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Articulate 360 Basic video and audio editing skills are a strong plus.
