Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst - C-17 Production Control (L2) to join and support the Materials & Tooling Management Team's C-17 program located in San Antonio, TX.Position Responsibilities:

Coordinate with various internal and external customers/departments including support agents/representatives for: customer service/support, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, and suppliers, to ensure smooth material management processes

Determine, verify, and coordinate part number attributes to ensure accurate identification and tracking of materials

Apply developed and proven solutions to inventory plans to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess/obsolete on-hand materials, parts, and supplies

Analyze disposition excess and obsolete inventories, implementing strategies to minimize financial impact

Create schedules for products and services, ensuring alignment with production plans and customer demand

Operate material handling equipment, hand tools and power equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as necessary to receive, move, store and issue material, tooling and tools, company equipment and products, and customer furnished equipment or material

Perform clerical and physical tasks such as counting, sorting, identification, and damage, loading and unloading to and from material locations within assigned area(s) related to receiving, kitting, and issuing of such items as materials, components and assemblies, while maintaining basic inventory control accuracy requirements

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

Analyze complex materials requirements

Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance ​

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

1+ years of experience with GOLD ESP (Government On Line Database Enterprise Service Planning)

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field

3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

3+ years of experience with GOLD ESP (Government On Line Database Enterprise Service Planning)

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

1+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system

1+ years of experience working within a fast-paced team environment, which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Leadership as well as internal and external customers/suppliers including support agents/representatives for: customer service/support, suppliers, Supply Chain/Procurement, logistics/warehousing, quality assurance, contract administration, finance, and engineering to ensure smooth material management processes

1+ years of experience (and practical knowledge) of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP)

1+ years of experience with applying asset/inventory management information systems & tools including: supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP

1+ years of experience working with logistic support systems (e.g., company/customer supply databases, inventory management regulations, supply support, export control, etc.)

Experience in a military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material

Typical Education/Experience:Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
