The ACS certification program is a mandatory program that serves as a performance management strategy to address the need for overarching consistency and Service-specificity of Military Family Readiness programs. The performance management strategy must assess elements of cost, quality, effectiveness, utilization, accessibility, and customer satisfaction. Systems Navigators and ACS Compliance Specialists (SNACS) – ACS Compliance Specialists Provide inspection and administrative support services at Army Community Services locations to support IMCOM HQ’s certification process, IAW the Department of Defense Instructions 1342.22, and Army Regulation 608-1. Support includes ongoing quality control related tasks outside of the scheduled site inspections. Certification support personnel will work remotely to the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Headquarters (HQ), ACS Certification Teams to include the planning and coordination of inspections and site visits at ACS locations to support IMCOM HQ’s certification process. Job Duties

Perform all required duties via telecommuting (telework) with the exception of on-site certification reviews conducted with the government.

Administrative support includes ongoing quality control related tasks outside of the scheduled site inspections.

At least once every four years the specialist will be responsible for participating in all certification inspection for ACS Centers, all ACS Programs, and Operations.

Provide support virtually and/or onsite.

Coordinate certification inspection milestones with IMCOM HQ, Certification Team, ID Functional Manager and ACS Directors at the Garrisons and schedule site visits with site points of contact at the sites to be inspected (Virtual and On-site).

Responsible for participating in all on-site certification inspections for no less than five (5) and up to fifteen (15) days on-site visit per years (this includes travel time).

Be responsible for performing a variety of administrative support tasks to include issuing the inspection packet to the sites a year in advance, reviewing submitted materials, providing guidance as it pertains to the certification process, the completion of government provided checklists, entering data in Department of Defense (DOD) Family Programs Certification Management System (FP- CMS) tracking system, completing reports, and follow-up actions.

Review ACS center’s pre-positioned documents to meet certification; prepare corrective action plans; review corrective actions for compliance; prepare certification correspondence and documentation; and obtain and review information from the DoD Family Program Certification Management System (FP-CMS).

Plan and coordinate up to one approved training event per year to provide Army centric training for no less than nine (9) contractors per event.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others, both in person and/or by telephone to conduct business.

Must be able to travel.

Experience with Microsoft Suite programs

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Required Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in a business or a behavior science field

One year experience performing social science administrative work or social science inspections.
