Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Manufacturing industry, based in San Antonio, Texas. The successful candidate will be primarily tasked with performing various accounting and clerical duties relating to the efficient upkeep and processing of accounts payable transactions.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently processing invoices for payments in line with company policies Handling incoming invoices by scanning, indexing, and routing them within the electronic document management system Performing a 3-way match process on vendor invoices Reviewing payment proposals to ensure their accuracy Collaborating with the Purchasing department and vendors to address invoice discrepancies Preparing checks for payments Filing backup paperwork after scanning Conducting vendor and payment research as needed Assisting and supporting employees with their expense reports Auditing expense reports on a monthly basis Ensuring all required time schedules and month-end deadlines are met Upholding the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality Performing other assigned duties as needed. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) functions is a mandatory requirement for this role Possessing strong skills in Computer Data Entry is necessary Experience in Data Entry - Numeric is highly desirable Familiarity with SAP software is a key requirement Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for this role Experience in handling Purchase Orders is a significant advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
