Provide support and assistance to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized Business Master File (BMF) platform.
Support day-to-day Operations and Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities.
Provide project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.
Translate assembly logic to modern constructs such as mapping assembly instructions to equivalent Java code using loops, conditional statements, functions, and object-oriented design patterns.
Use Application Discovery and Delivery Intelligence (ADDI) insights to help team members pinpoint potential issues during modernization.
Develop solutions and mitigate identified risks.
Required Skills and Experience
Past development/architecting experience.
Experience refactoring code.
A broad range of programming experience with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Java Syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with full-stack development.
An ability to learn ADDI and Memory Accelerator Module (MAM) accelerator toolsets.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Possess a familiarity with other z/OS analysis or development tools.
