Bilingual Child Academy - a premier Early Childhood Spanish Immersion center in north central San Antonio is currently hiring a full-time bilingual Childcare Teachers for all ages.

This position is a fixed shift of Monday thru Friday
Part Time schedule: 12:00pm-6:00pm (30 hr week)
Full Time schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm (40 hr week)
- Entry level position in childcare, we can train and mentor
- Infant, Toddler or Preschool classroom, with a team of teachers in class to support each other.
- Spanish Immersion play-based curriculum from Frog Street Press
- Must be bilingual can fully speak Spanish with a basic communication skill in English for parent notes.
Responsibilities:
-Caring for the health, hygiene and safety of a group of children working with a team
-Ensuring the children are learning and growing in their developmental milestones
-Being in charge of a group of assistants as their supervisor
-Keeping constant communication with parents
-Writing notes on Daily Reports and putting in the children's daily necesities on daily reports
-Classroom Discipline and Management. Be able to entertain and control a small group
-Implementation of learning activities
-Developing strong relationships with parents and families of children
-Create a loving and welcoming environment for infants & toddlers with a strong focus on social emotional learning
Requirments for Position:
-Must be a bilingual English/Spanish speaker (Spanish 100%, English at least 50%)
-Must be 18 years or older
-Must have a High School education or higher, CDA preferable
-Must have some experience working with young children in some capacity
-Must pass a background check
-Must be able to work in the US
-Meet all Texas Health & Humans Services [HHS] standards for Child Care Licensing [CCL] in the state of Texas
-Must be physically able to lift 35-40 lbs or a small child, walk, bend, twist, squat.
