Box Truck Driver Job Summary:
We are looking for a Box Truck Driver to join our company. You must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be familiar with the surrounding city of San Antonio area.
A commercial driver's license (CDL) IS NOT required for this position. Your job duties will include loading and unloading delivery items, operating a box truck, and cleaning and inspecting your truck. Lift-gate and forklift experience is required. Our clients expect their goods to arrive within a specific time frame, so you must be able to work independently and manage your time well.
Related experience may include: Warehouse Packer, Warehouse Receiver, Warehouse Worker, Package Handler, Order Puller, Forklift Operator, Forklift Associate, Shipping Clerk, Receiving Clerk.
About STMA’s position:
40 Hours a week, Plus Overtime available
No overnight work
Mostly San Antonio and surrounding city delivery
Some out of town delivery required.
Driver shift: Tuesdays thru Saturday required (Start time 7am to 5pm)
(Supervisor’s request – 5:30am at times)
(Monday’s off, but some out of town deliveries – Drivers must rotate assignment)
(Sundays off )
Store hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Saturday’s store hours: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Pay period is every 15 days. (not two weeks)

Box Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule.
Deliver items as instructed.
Load and unload vehicle.
Document deliveries.
Inspect delivery truck pre and post use.
Follow Crossroad’s emergency action plan.
Follow DOT regulations.
Follow company’s safe driving rules.
Box Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
21 years or older old is a must
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Able to work independently
Able to lift to 75 lbs.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge and skills common with 2 years' experience in deliver to stores
Verifying all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
Properly load and unload the materials from the truck, and maintain inventory control
Operating pallet jack and other material handling equipment
Most importantly, you will deliver high quality customer service and professionalism!
Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job during the assigned work hours.
