30 year old small local company seeks experienced bookkeeper with ability to handle payroll, prepare payroll tax reports, reconcile bank statements and cut checks and verify invoices for main company and subsidiaries. Ability to do general admin and HR duties as well. Some knowledge of accounting principles a must. Must have ability to work independent of other departments without a lot of direct supervision and report directly to top management.
It will be a challenge to start a new job in the current environment but we are willing to try if you are. Maybe it would be part-time for a month or two until office work becomes feasible again, and then full-time beginning as soon as possible, although our office is a low people traffic site.
