We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Clerk to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and have experience with QuickBooks. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. A background in banking or financial sales is preferred, along with a keen understanding of fraud prevention and detection.
Responsibilities
Process credit applications and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Conduct thorough analysis of credit reports to assess risk and make informed decisions.
Communicate with the team to facilitate financial transactions and support the company's needs.
Monitor accounts for signs of fraud and take appropriate action when necessary.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to ensure timely processing of information.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial services regulations and best practices.
Skills
Strong background in QuickBooks and accounts payable.
Proficient in fraud prevention and detection techniques.
Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients and team members.
Working hours are from Monday - Friday 9am- 3pm
