San Antonio Staffing is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk.
```Duties```
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Prepare and perform journal entries for accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
```Requirements```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Ceridian or ADP
- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and procedures
- Understanding of SOX compliance requirements for accounts payable
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience with general ledger accounting functions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective communication skills to interact with vendors, colleagues, and other departments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
